These journals are seconds because they contain marks or imperfections on the cover. The inside is in perfect condition. 

Choose between B grade and C grade.

B grade journals have either a very minor notch on the top edge of the spine, or very faint white banding on a section of the cover. These faults are largely unnoticeable.

C grade journals have marks or imperfections on them which are more noticeable (such as roller marks or peeling to the edge of the cover's laminate), hence the larger discount.
